Dotsume/High-density jersey fabric T-shirt is an extra-thick material of about 11.5 ounces, made of American cotton and knitted with a loop knitting machine. Since it is knitted very slowly, each knitting machine can only produce about 30 pieces of t-shirts per day.

This process gives the material a raw feel and a unique texture—simultaneously firm and resilient—resulting from the tension difference between the yarn’s tightly wound outer layer and its looser core. A high-density fabric band is attached to the neckline to reinforce its durability.
